Its free...but you still pay for it!

The idea of bottling water probably had to be such a crazy concept when first surfaced. A free resource such as water, being bottled labeled and sold for money?!  And it actually turned out to work and be very successful idea, which is even more astounding then the actual act of bottling something that people can get for free anyway. It's intention is for everyone, even animal's. Some people don't give there animals nothing but bottled water to drink. Seeing How it's in a relatively small - hand held plastic container thats light weight and portable. It can be used and accessed anywhere. Plastic is the common material used for this product. The reason Why the designer choose to use plastic was because it's a flexible lite material that can be easily worked with and manipulated. Probably mass production using plastic is alot cheaper also I'm sure. Since it's launch. The bottled water industry has changed drastically.  It went from a very simple plain product. To a major deal. Fancy labels, variations of different types of water have been created, ie: mineral water, fruit infused water and waters designed for a specific purpose like running or weight training.  New shapes and designs for the bottles have been created to give it a sexier  look for consumers. Yet it's original purpose has not changed. It's still meant to hydrate people with what the body needs, water.
The design problem faced when first turning this idea into a reality had to be first the faith in actually believing people would buy water. Then second what material should the bottle be made of?  Crazy idea.. great idea.. great concept.. great material chosen. And seeing how the world is going through a more healthy craze at the moment. It's only going to be even more successful as time goes on
