Can u tell i was hungry while blogging...moshi - moshi
Another great design that is also edible, originates from the far east. Sushi is king when it comes to trendy dinning. A small compact elegant carefully crafted roll. That comes In many different varieties. Sushi is not only delicious but also it can be considered art work. Also the skill of crafting sushi can also be admired as an art form. Which makes the Sushi experience far more greater and interesting then just a piece of raw fish rolled up. .not sure if sushi has evolved or not but I know its more popular then ever. So I guess the new flavors and the experience show that there has been an evolution since it's introduction. A wonderful design, great idea and delicious experience.
Whats your beef ?
Alot of Good designs and idea are edible. For instance the hamburger. A Well known icon of the food world thats been around for years and doing better then ever. The hamburger is basically a Hardy sandwich. Two pieces of bread, a wide variety of toppings and a beef patty. There are So many different combinations in regards to choices when constructing a hamburger in today's day and age. The meat, bread, different cheeses and vegetables arrangements. One can makes probably thousands of different types of hamburger combinations. Another aspects which makes it great. design. Interchangeable ingredients. makes it a wonderful and exciting food
design. A simple food which has European roots and it's actual name derived from a small town in Germany. Has evolved into a worldly recognized meal with endless possibilities. That is the evolution of the hamburger. It's original purpose to feed people with simplicity has not changed. But it's meaning has I believe. Now it means to symbolize the fast food industry and or a small business with mom and pop's restaurants. It means big business and capital in this country. The design problems when first inventing the hamburger might have been which meat to use. Maybe if it were another meat originally. The faith of the hamburger might have a different one then it is today. All and all it's a great design in food and a great idea.

Meals on wheels
Now a days some people would rather eat from a food truck rather than a restaurant. And What's even more surprising is some of the food from these trucks are gourmet. the food, service and even the physical appearance of the meals on wheels have drastically improved. These trucks are held to the same standards as restaurants. So the recent craze over the years have made these trucks very popular. The evolution of the food truck is a great one. Once seen as a "roach coach" and something people avoided. Is sought after and actually an enjoyable experience for alot of people. It's original purpose was and is to serve food, mobile. So that hasn't changed, just the food and appearance got better.it's purpose is intended for everyone of all ages. They now also have great graphics and logo's on the side of the truck. So each truck draws it's own individualness through creative graphics and logo's for there specific types of food. The problem when first dealing with these trucks had to be what type of foods to cook, where to be located and How should the trucks look. The way things are going now appears they've answered those questions. Great idea, that has definitely gotten better over time

| Amazon.com (world's largest online store) (photo by google images) This amazing website/design/corporation/one-stop shop is probably the only place on the internet where you can literally purchase anything you could think of (thats legal) from one spot. Amazon.com, Inc. is an American international electronic commerce company with headquarters in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is the world's largest online retailer. Amazon started as an online bookstore, but soon expanded, selling DVDs, VHSs, CDs, video and MP3downloads/streaming, software, video games, electronics, apparel, furniture, food etc, etc. The company also produces consumer electronics, notably the Amazon Kindle e-book reader and the Kindle Fire tablet computer. Jeff Bezos incorporated the company (as Cadabra) in July 1994 and the site went online as Amazon.com in 1995. The company was renamed after the Amazon River, one of the largest rivers in the world. So its intentions are for any and everybody to visit the site and make purchases. Which will happen since one of there strategies are name brand products, for low prices with fast shipping. Its almost impossible to turn down some of these deals that Amazon present. Since its launch the company has definitely changed. They evolved from focusing on only a specific product to providing almost everything you can think of. So its original meaning has not changed, but it has evolved into targeting a larger number of consumers by offering more variety of products to be sold. The idea of an online shopping experience that sells almost everything is just genius. So original idea just to sell books was a very smart idea. Then realizing that you can sell so much more things just turned from brilliant to genius. The problems faced while first constructing this website were those that many other website that sell something faced also. How are we going to attract consumers and what is going to set us apart from other website that are already similar to us. The answers are great consumer service, fast and easy delivery and name brand products that people recognize and are already familiar with. Great design, great website, great experience at Amazon.com |

"Up-up and away !!"
The creation of super hero's have been around for awhile now. Even more popular then ever today. There big business and everyone young and old has there favorite's and can relate to him or her somehow. Whether a interesting back story/origin. Or a special power/ability we admire or dream we could duplicate. Super hero's created by marvel, DC comics or whom ever else have been and made a huge impact on regular real life people for a very long time now. The idea and design of these character are simply amazing. The look of them are that of regular people. And the designers have made a strive to create hero's of color now. Back then only white characters were created but times have changed and people of color need hero's they can physically relate to aswell. The origins and background stories created by the designers are a big part of Why average people love super hero's also. Real life stories of struggle and rough beginnings. Absuse or bullying. Or doubt and adversity are the real life things we all face as real life people. So seeing someone of super abilities go through these problem's helps the audience build a connection to the hero. Comic book to the big screen to everything in between shows the evolution of the super hero. Paper, ink, pencil, and paint have been transfer into actors, screen plays, and wardrobe. So I guess you can say the materials have changed. Yet the original meaning of the super hero has not changed. Good vs evil, cool powers we all wish we had. And a hero we can admire and depend on. A play on emotions that we can all relate to. Elaborate designs of costumes, great special abilities, and implementation of emotions and real life struggles that average everyday people endure through out life is what made and continues to make the creation and concept of super heros a good design.
Its free...but you still pay for it!
The idea of bottling water probably had to be such a crazy concept when first surfaced. A free resource such as water, being bottled labeled and sold for money?! And it actually turned out to work and be very successful idea, which is even more astounding then the actual act of bottling something that people can get for free anyway. It's intention is for everyone, even animal's. Some people don't give there animals nothing but bottled water to drink. Seeing How it's in a relatively small - hand held plastic container thats light weight and portable. It can be used and accessed anywhere. Plastic is the common material used for this product. The reason Why the designer choose to use plastic was because it's a flexible lite material that can be easily worked with and manipulated. Probably mass production using plastic is alot cheaper also I'm sure. Since it's launch. The bottled water industry has changed drastically. It went from a very simple plain product. To a major deal. Fancy labels, variations of different types of water have been created, ie: mineral water, fruit infused water and waters designed for a specific purpose like running or weight training. New shapes and designs for the bottles have been created to give it a sexier look for consumers. Yet it's original purpose has not changed. It's still meant to hydrate people with what the body needs, water.
The design problem faced when first turning this idea into a reality had to be first the faith in actually believing people would buy water. Then second what material should the bottle be made of? Crazy idea.. great idea.. great concept.. great material chosen. And seeing how the world is going through a more healthy craze at the moment. It's only going to be even more successful as time goes on
